I have graduated in 2020 as physiotherapist and started my first job as BAND 5 MSK PHYSIOTHERAPIST in Pakistan. For a year I refined my clinical skills and then I moved to UK for postgraduate studies in 2021. I have worked with elderly patients and young people as well, which has given me a lot of knowledge of practicing in different aspects and amongst different communities. Why do you enjoy working as a Physiotherapist?
I love my job duties because it is a profession where you are always learning new things and helping people and changing people’s life. I enjoy helping people, I religiously like working as a physiotherapist because is its ability to help people feel motivated and to give them confidence in themselves to try something that’s been too painful or scary to do for a long time and to take control of their lives and be enough enthusiastically confident so that they can independently move and feel better. I think physiotherapy is not just a profession but it a good deed to the community.
